Sony Xperia E, Xperia E dual to launch in Q1 2013, bring Jelly Bean on a budget

Sony has announced a new Xperia series smartphone, Xperia E. The device will come in two variants, similar to the company's Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual, which is available in both single SIM as well as dual-SIM versions. Xperia E seems to be targeted at budget smartphone buyers.Sony Xperia E comes with a 8.8-cm (3.5-inch) HVGA display and runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean, making it the most affordable smartphone running on the latest version. In terms of specs, the Xperia E will be powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and 512 MB RAM. The smartphone will come with a 3.2 MP rear camera and the device will be loaded with a removable 1,500 mAh battery. Both single and dual SIM variant will come with the same features including DLNA connectivity, HD voice and 3D surround sound.
Sony Mobile notes Xperia E will be available in black, white and pink colours and Xperia E dual in black and gold colours.
