10 Flaws found in Apple Maps

Apple iPhone5 has been in the news for good and bad stuffs. It was the hottest thing in debates, tech magazines, dailies etc for all reasons. Now we present you something which will leave iPhone5 die-hard fans, red-faced. It was found out that Apple Maps were flawed in 10 different circumstances and here it is:

1. Airfield Park, located in south Dublin, has been mistakenly labeled as an airport, judging by the presence of a plane symbol on top of it. The airport is actually located on the other side of the city.

2. Maps in some areas do not look as good as they should, with stiched together pieces of different resolutions. Some image data is in black & white.

3. The capiral of Ukraine is Kiev, also spelled Kyiv, but the name has been misspelled as Kylv in Apple Maps.

4. Similarly , the English city of Doncaster is labeled as "Duncaster" in Apple Maps. Thankfully, even if the name is entered properly, the user will be taken to the right location, despite the typo!!

5. It looks, Sears Tower in Chicago has shrunk! It's not. It is just that the label has been given to the wrong building. ( Now fixed.)

6. The Helsinki railway station has been turned into a park, obviously, or at least that is what Apple Maps is leading us to believe.

7. If you search for London, without adding "UK" to the query, you will be taken to London, Canada, instead of the London you're most likely looking for. (Now it's working O.K)

8. Good luck finding your way in Japan. Very important places of interest are not showing up in the search results, even when they are clearly shown on the map.

9. Public transportation information is unreliable. Searching for Paddington station in London, for example, takes you to Paddington Street, which isn't near.

10. Not everything is where it is supposed to be. The city of Viterbo, Italy, for example, is shown about 10 miles south of its actual location.
